At the age of 23 I realized that calling yourself a Christian isn't always synonymous with living your life as a disciple of Christ. As I began to understand the words of Jesus as He calls out, "Follow me," I knew I had a life-altering decision to make: Would I continue with the plans I'd laid out for my life? Or would I lay it all down and be willing to follow the One who knit me together in my mother's womb? After all, He created me and He created me for a purpose (Eph 2:10). While the decision wasn't and isn't easy, it really is simple. Follow Jesus and His plans for me... wherever He leads. 

A decade later and I'm still on this incredible adventure with the Lord. I rarely know the next steps too far in advance, but I'm encouraged by the words of Oswald Chambers, "Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading."
